The Allen-Bradley 1771-WHFB is a field wiring arm featuring 21 tin-plated terminals and individual 1.5A fuses per output point, providing dedicated per-channel circuit protection for 1771 I/O modules in the PLC-5 platform.
The 1771-WHFB is the lower-amperage companion to the 1771-WHF, making it the preferred choice for applications requiring tighter individual output circuit protection. All fuses are rated 1.5A at 250V, compared to the 3A maximum fuse rating of the 1771-WHF, making the WHFB well suited for lower-current output circuits where more precise overcurrent protection is needed.
Like all 1771 fused wiring arms, the 1771-WHFB provides optimum fuse protection without requiring removal of a module from the chassis, ensuring maximum connection integrity is maintained during fuse servicing. It simplifies general plant wiring to 1771 I/O modules through flexible interconnections and requires no external power source for operation. The thermoplastic construction with conformal coating provides protection against moisture and caustic chemicals in industrial environments.
The 1771-WHFB is compatible with the same 1771 I/O modules as the 1771-WHF and 1771-WH wiring arms, including modules installed in 1771-A1B through 1771-A4B I/O chassis. Terminal tightening force is 1.0 Nm (9 lb-in).
