The Allen-Bradley 1756-PA75 is a standard AC power supply designed for the ControlLogix platform. It installs directly into the leftmost slot of any 1756 ControlLogix chassis, providing regulated power to the backplane to support the operation of controllers, I/O modules, and communication adapters. It is engineered to provide a stable power foundation for high-performance industrial automation systems.
This Series A module accepts a wide universal input voltage range of 85–265VAC (47–63 Hz), making it suitable for both 120V and 240V power systems without the need for manual selection. It converts this input into multiple DC output voltages required by the ControlLogix backplane: 1.2VDC, 3.3VDC, 5.1VDC, and 24VDC. The supply is capable of delivering up to 13A at 5.1VDC and a total output power of 75 Watts at 60°C.
The 1756-PA75 features integrated overcurrent and overvoltage protection to safeguard the backplane and installed modules from electrical faults. It includes a front-panel status LED that provides immediate visual confirmation of the input power status and output health.
