The Allen-Bradley 1492-CABLE010TBCH is a pre-wired digital I/O module-ready cable designed for use within the Bulletin 1492 Wiring System. It is specifically compatible with the 36-point 1756-TBCH removable terminal block and integrates seamlessly with Bulletin 1756 ControlLogix digital I/O modules. The cable is 1.0 meter (3.28 ft) in length and comprises 40 conductors of #18 AWG wire, with a cable jacket diameter of 11.4 mm.

The cable is rated for 300V AC/DC with an insulation temperature rating of 80°C, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial panel environments.

As part of the Bulletin 1492 pre-wired cable system, the 1492-CABLE010TBCH eliminates point-to-point field wiring at the I/O module itself, routing signals through a factory-assembled, pre-tested cable to a DIN rail-mountable Interface Module (IFM) or remote terminal block located elsewhere in the control panel. All Bulletin 1492 cables are 100% tested for continuity, ensuring a reliable connection every time. This approach greatly simplifies module replacement — field wiring at the IFM remains undisturbed while only the module-end connector is disconnected, reducing downtime and eliminating the risk of rewiring errors.
