The Allen-Bradley 100-A45ND3 is a 3-pole, 45 Amp contactor from the Bulletin 100-A IEC contactor series, featuring a 110/120VAC coil rated at 50/60Hz and designed for general-purpose industrial motor control and load switching applications.

The 100-A45ND3 is rated for 45A at up to 600VAC with a 120VAC coil, features 3 normally open main poles, and supports DIN rail mounting. It is electrically held, meaning the contactor remains closed as long as coil power is applied — the standard configuration for motor control applications.

Stepping up from the 30A frame, the 100-A45ND3 offers a higher current capacity suited for larger motor loads. The Bulletin 100-A series includes wire terminal lugs on the power terminals for the 100-A09 through 100-A75 range, and the 100-A45 frame carries a normally open auxiliary contact rated specifically for auxiliary circuits — distinct from the smaller 100-A09 through 100-A24 sizes where the auxiliary contact shares the same rating as the main power contacts.

The contactor is compatible with direct-mount Bulletin 193-series electronic and 592-series bimetallic overload relays to build a complete IEC motor starter assembly, as well as add-on auxiliary contact blocks and timing modules for expanded control circuit capability. Built to IEC 947 / BS 5424 / VDE 0660 standards, the 100-A45ND3 is well suited for demanding industrial applications including pumps, compressors, fans, conveyors, and other three-phase motor-driven equipment.
