The 1746-OW16 Series C is an Allen-Bradley SLC-500 family discrete output module, part of the 1746 backplane system. It provides 16 channels of relay contact output, providing normally open dry contact switching suited to controlling field devices across a wide range of AC and DC voltages, making it a versatile output module where isolated contact outputs are required for switching different voltage levels or signal types within the same module. It slots directly into the SLC-500 chassis with field wiring connecting via a 1746-series wiring arm or terminal block, and is configured and programmed through RSLogix 500.
