Allen Bradley AC Output Module 120/240Vac, 16 Point AC output module The Allen-Bradley 1746-OA16 is an SLC 500 discrete AC output module featuring 16 output channels arranged in two groups of eight, providing 120/240VAC nominal output voltage over an operating range of 85–265VAC at 47–63Hz.
It is compatible as both a local and remote I/O module with any SLC 500 PLC processor, as well as CompactLogix and ControlLogix Programmable Automation Controllers.
The 1746-OA16 uses TRIAC-based outputs, which turn ON at any point on the AC line and turn OFF at the zero crossing — a design well-suited for general-purpose AC load switching applications
